Water Treatment
Whenever you move and refill your mattress, follow the "Waterbed Mattress Filling" instructions, including waterbed conditioner every 6 to 12 months. All waterbed mattresses, regardless of brand or model, that eliminate wave motion also have very little water circulation. When you add conditioner each year, you must push on the waterbed mattress vigorously for 10 minutes to agitate the water so the waterbed conditioner will circulate, or remove an inch or two of water, add the conditioner and the refill the inch or two of water to circulate the conditioner.
Vinyl Treatment
You can use a liquid soap without harming the vinyl waterbed but "DO NOT" use other cleaners or solvents on the mattress. Another benefit of this mattress is that it is hypo-allergenic. It cannot absorb dirt, dust, or bacteria as an ordinary innerspring mattress does. However vinyl does allow odor to penetrate, so to keep it odor-free, remember to keep it clean.
